IFS routinely makes progress payments on behalf of our clients to their vendors. Our clients negotiate their transaction with the vendor, and IFS will then make the necessary progress payments or advanced payments to the vendor on your behalf up until delivery and acceptance of the equipment. By having IFS make the progress payments, our clients save time and upfront cash. IFS manages all of the invoicing and necessary progress payments on nearly every one of our transactions. IFS is also able to reimburse our clients for progress payments or advanced payments they have made to the vendor prior to the involvement of IFS. Many other lending institutions no longer offer or are able to provide progress payments to their clients.
